The FITMOMBOD Program
Helping Busy Women Reclaim Their Energy, Strength, and Health
Hi, I'm Sarah.
Founder of The FITMOMBOD Program, healthcare professional, mom, and women's health and fitness coach.
Health and movement have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There are even childhood photos of me trying to lift my dad’s barbell before I was old enough for school.
Growing up, I was involved in multiple sports and quickly fell in love with strength training. It gave me a sense of confidence and capability that carried into adulthood. That passion led me to pursue a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, where I deepened my understanding of how the body performs, adapts, and grows stronger.
But like many women, life eventually became more complicated than simply finding time to work out.
When Life Gets Busy, Health Often Gets Pushed Aside
As a physician assistant and a mom, I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to maintain healthy routines while working unpredictable shifts and caring for a family.
My work schedule often had my circadian rhythm completely off balance. I found myself exhausted on my days off, relying on more caffeine just to get through the day.
Instead of being the mom who could run around and play with my kids, I often felt like the mom saying:
"Sorry, mommy needs to take a nap."
That wasn’t the kind of mom I wanted to be.
I realized that if I wanted to show up fully for my family and my career, something had to change.
Learning How to Support My Body Instead of Fighting It
That realization led me to dive deeply into learning everything I could about:
• nutrition for energy and metabolic health
• strength training for long-term health and resilience
• recovery strategies and sleep routines
• hydration and proper supplementation
• supporting the body through the stress of demanding schedules
Instead of trying to simply push harder, I began focusing on supporting my body properly.
As I implemented changes — improving my nutrition, prioritizing strength training, establishing better sleep routines, and reducing reliance on caffeine — my energy began to shift.
I started showing up differently.
Not just at work, but at home.
I had the energy to run around at my kids’ games, coach on the baseball field, and be present in the moments that mattered most.
The Moment I Realized Other Women Needed This Too
As other moms watched these changes, they started asking questions.
They noticed the meals and snacks I brought to games.
They asked how I maintained energy throughout long days.
They wanted to know what they should be eating and how they could feel better too.
That’s when I realized something important:
I wasn't the only woman struggling with this.
There was a huge gap between the health advice women were receiving and what actually worked for busy professional women and moms.
Even within healthcare, very little practical guidance was being given on how women could realistically support their metabolism, energy, and health while juggling careers, kids, and demanding schedules.
So I decided to do something about it.
Why I Created The FITMOMBOD Program
I created The FITMOMBOD Program to help busy women rebuild their health using realistic strategies that actually fit their lives.
Instead of extreme diets or unrealistic workout plans, my coaching focuses on helping women:
• fuel their bodies properly
• build strength and metabolic health
• stabilize energy throughout the day
• create sustainable routines that work with busy schedules
Because health shouldn’t require perfection — it requires structure and support.
The Advice Busy Women Get Is Often Wrong
One of the biggest frustrations I see is the advice many busy women receive when they want to improve their health.
They’re often told to:
• eat less
• move more
• do more cardio
But for many women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond, that approach actually works against them.
Our bodies are under far more stress than they were in our twenties. Careers, families, responsibilities, and sleep disruption all place additional demands on our metabolism.
In many cases, women don’t need to eat less.
They need to fuel better.
Balanced nutrition that stabilizes blood sugar and supports metabolism is one of the most powerful ways to improve energy, long-term health, and even reduce cardiovascular risk.
When nutrition, strength training, and recovery are aligned properly, the body can begin to function the way it was designed to.
What I Want for the Women I Work With
My goal is simple.
I want women to feel confident in how they take care of their bodies.
I want them to:
• fuel themselves properly without fear of food
• lift weights and build strength with confidence
• have the energy to show up fully in their lives
• develop the metabolic freedom to enjoy life
Because every woman deserves to feel strong, energized, and capable in her own body.
And every mom deserves the energy to be present for the moments that matter most.
